At the moment about 75% of my sits are Repeats or referrals and I
have had to knock back a few from the website due to existing
bookings.
I’ve made lots of friends from House sitting and the rare
“difficult” owners are far outnumbered by the “Marvellous” ones,
and I do like to Call back and see my pets from time to time.
Love your site and Have referred several of my friends who were
interested in sitting. Also referred a few
owners to the site, who’s friends had
recommended me, but who I was unable to accommodate due to being

payment, transport etc.) A bit of further advice for prospective
sitters - they should make sure they put a subject title for their
email. Some don't and Hotmail dumps them in "junk" or I don't open

the site. Most of our sitters now are Australian - late fifties,
early sixties, a lot of ex-pats who want to come back to see how its
changed. A lot of early retired civil servants.
We
are (currently) in France ski-ing now for
the week so have sitters from US looking after the house

you Danny & Andrea for contacting us.
We are presently in Switzerland house sitting for a young couple.
They are American and live here on a 2 yr contract with Johnson &
Johnson. They hope their next contract will take them to Australia.
We have enjoyed our stay and our location is right on Lake Neuchatel.
On a clear day we look over the lake to the Alps. (haven't had too
many of those) During our time here we have visited a good part of
Switzerland and the Alps. They are truly spectacular. It is snowing
outside as I write this. Have just heard it is 32degrees and humid
at home in Brisbane so we will notice it when we get off the plane
on 9thJan.
We have enjoyed the opportunity to house sit and have had offers
that were good and some not so good.
We feel this will be our last trip overseas as we are getting older
and find it more difficult. This time we were 2 1/2months in the US
and Canada before we came to Switzerland on 21st Nov so we have been
away from home for a long time and looking forward to getting home
again.
